Feeling Great
Well the week is almost over, and I am feeling better than ever (when it comes to energy that is). I think the diet and exercise is for sure helping me not feel so sluggish. I have lost 7.5 lbs as of today..I know that is alot in one week, but I am sure some of that was water weight. I am still doing The Shred, and it's getting a little easier to keep up (I'm still no Jillian Michaels lol).
Today, I am going to my friend Michelle's house for scrapbooking girl time :) I haven't worked on the scrapbooking in years, so I am WAY BEHIND !!!
Tomorrow, I am going out to lunch with a friend that I haven't seen since High School, so I am super excited about that. Her and I were best friends for about 3 years and then after High School, we lost touch. I will for sure be making a good choice of what to eat at lunch also, I don't wanna fall off the wagon lol. I know I can treat myself sometimes...but I wanna wait for at least the 2 week mark for that !!

Staying Strong
Today seemed to be easier than the last two days !! I hope I have made it over the hump for now anyway, or should say with the carbs...on the other hand, The Shred is kicking my you know what !! I am so sore but hopefully things with get better. At least I know I'm getting a good workout :)
After work tonight, I decided to stop and go tanning. I haven't been indoor tanning in over a year, and for me....it is soooo relaxing and just a nice time to myself. I KNOW, I KNOW...not the best for you, but I don't wanna talk about that right now.
I have gotten pretty creative with my no carb meals. Jim on the other hand, isn't really following it much as I hoped, but he is trying.

Rubber Bones
Ok...so yesterday wasn't soooo bad !! I made it all day without eating anything I shouldn't or should I say couldn't lol. After 10pm last night I was starving...so I ate 5 green olives (approved Atkins snack) and a glass of water and went to bed. Today I woke up and around 6:45am popped in the 30 day Shred. HOLY MOLY..Jillian Michaels (from Biggest Loser) is NO JOKE !! 30 Day Shred has 3 levels, I of course started level 1 today. I decided to do each level for 10 days. I definately felt like I got a good workout. My body was shaking and felt like rubber once I finished lol !! I have my meals planned for the day, which is usually the best plan for me to stay on track.
Other than the diet and exercise consuming my life the last two days, not much else new. I will probably write about more things sometime. One thing to add, I don't think my hubby is gonna last...let's just say his first day wasn't as good as mine !!

Day 1-Induction
Ok, so I have been procrastinating for a while now...I finally am starting. I have tried soooo many diets and although some work, Atkins seemed to work the best for me when I tried it shortly after Landon was born. I ended up loosing about 30lbs and then got pregnant with Maddie lol...guess that didn't last long :)
I have convinced my husband to do it with me, along with exercising. We have a treadmill and about a week ago we decided we would both try and do AT LEAST 30 minutes on day on it. I also started back on the Wii Fit and that gets me doing some aerobics. I would love to join a gym, but between the price of it and the time...I don't think that will work right now for us.
So today is Day 1 of Induction and so far so good :) More to come tomorrow !!
